how do you have that screenshot? still using spy programs… but on yourself?
about the speech, it was pretty unbelievable to hear introduced such nuanced and intelligent discourse within the scope of a political campaign. the critics are right, though- the text of the speech is not really reducible to sound bytes that might defuse the wright problem for those whom the pastor has outraged. this could be bad on the one hand, because an intellectual approach won’t snare voters looking to the front page for a rejection of wright. But then again, the tone of his speech was so respectful towards his public– what could be more appealing than talking to the public in a way that encourages its members to address the complexities that sound bytes and normal campaign rhetoric skirt or blatantly ignore?
